MAC Studio Fix Fluid.

               My Try on MAC Foundation

          Today , i am here to share my opinion and experience after using a foundation. This foundation is not like "Holy Grail" to everyone. But yes, Many people there who love this one. I am talking about Studio Fix Fluid , From the house of M.A.C.
          Packaging : Every time, this come first when you look at a product. This one come with a traditional MAC cover, which made of paper and of course, Black Colored. On the cover box, you will get much information about the products and its ingredients. When you open the pack, a Round shaped pretty bottle will be on your hand. 

      Now am calling it pretty coz, its not really a even round bottle. It has a shape, from round to bit narrow lower portion. Point to mind, This is a bit heavy, Sleek-y GLASS bottle, n you have to be seriously conscious to handle it :/ It doesnt have any pump attach on top, which makes tough to use such consistency fluid. This is a draw back to me.

 

Price: i got my one thru a friend's gift. From a MAC corner, this take 27$ for a 1.0 oz or 30 ml bottle. For local purchase, you may find this at shop like Body line or Priyo. Price apx 3300~3600 BDT. You may also buy from FB based page, where i am not sure about price.

     
  Shade : Yes, this fluide does offer you a vast range of shade, total 35 shade & you can easily choose your one. Here, my shade is NC 25. Considering FOUNDATION, (which i prefar one shade lighter for party wear) this is one shade darker to my own tone. My MAC shade is NC20 ,Chanel shade is 22 Rose (liquide)  or 10 Beige (powder)

     Ingredients :  I am not an expert actually to talk about Quality of this product or much about the ingredients. If you have a close look at the back of cover, you will get a full list of ingredients. If you have a sensitive skin, its a MUST for u to chk first. Many expert claim, it does support moderate Photo-friendliness due to low amount of titanium dioxide ( apx 1%)
   

    Consistency:   This is a fluid which is neither STICKY type nor very runny. It has a nice consistency, which really help you when u apply it. You are free to apply with brush or beauty sponge, even with ur fingers. It does carry smell & oki, i kno its weired but i do feel kinda sharp medicine type of smell. Personally i don't like it, though it almost disappear with the time.

Applies, builds and blends easily and evenly. Comfortable and long-wearing, helps minimize the appearance of pores and imperfections, giving skin a smoother, more flawless look and finish"
      
        My experience :  It feels quite Light on skin. But if u want a good coverege, you have to apply few layer, which might feel little heavy. Actually, It has Light to Medium coverage with Build-able formula. (sorry, i cant call it a "full coverage" one due to its performance on blemish or problem area) Now that is a big reason to List it as a Day time foundation. 15 SPF, ( Though nt enough) still gives her a plus point to wear at day time.
                            

         Stay power: This is not a Matte finish formula at all. rather you will get a semi dewy- semi matte effect, if you can place it well. Though it claim for LONG WEARING, am not agree with it. I have a Oily-Combine skin. On my oily T-Zone it stay about 2/3 hr (avg) with out any touch up. For rest of the face, It stay good for 5/6 hours. Plz note: i didn't try on Heavy hot-humid weather or rain, All my test was indoor, under 25*-27* temp. Yes, if you dont touch up or not add any setting powder after u apply MAC STUDIO FLUID, it will show lower stay power and will fed up gradually.

       My Opinion : Yes, this a nice mac foundation as for the first time i didnt face any major break out or caky appearence after apply. It has light feeling formula . My chosen natural tone (NC25) give me freedom to wear it day time randomly. For a Low to Medium coverage, i am happy to spend 27$. For swatch, plz click bellow Link.
         But if you ask me to re-purchase, i might go for other options in same price range. 

        Because :
1. This bottle doesnt come with any pumper. So its tough to make out liquid as per my requirement. Many time, i have faced misuse due to extra fall.
2. SPF 15 is not enough for a day time sun care. If i apply it in a Sun screen, it feels much heavier.

3. Coverage is bellow my expectation. I have un-even tone on my upper cheek. It doesn't show any Marcy on my problem area with single apply. You know, i don't use concealer yet. neither i do like it. So, its disappointing. 

4. Low stay power on my T-zone.
5. Finlay the smell. It really push me always from re-using it.
